YRKKH’s Samridhii Shukla on new woman in Armaan’s life & upcoming love triangle: ‘That woman is..’

Samridhii Shukla, who essays the character of Abhira in Star Plus' show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, got in an exclusive chat with India Forums and spoke about the show taking a leap. The actress also spilt some beans on a 'new love triangle' in the making for the viewers and Rohit Purohit's character Armaan turning annoying with his possesiveness.

Another new chapter for the viewers of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, a new story unfolds, how excited are you for this story?

I am very excited, we are already shooting for this. So, this is a lot of fun, it's a new flavor. It's three people that I didn't imagine would ever come and face all these problems together. And it's also even more exciting to find what brought them together, that we will unfold in the coming episodes.

To be honest, before the leap, everyone just kept saying that Armaan had lost it when he was being all protective and possessive. What were your thoughts at the time?

See, Armaan's character has taken a shift after, it could be because of the trauma of the previous child, losing the previous child and of course, I am not discounting him for his behaviour, but this is what has happened. But I think Abhira, because she believes in love and in love, you do give chances and she always believed that, you know, things would come around and he would feel better and he would become better with time, but we never got the chance and the separation track came because Pookie went missing.

A new woman in Armaan’s life, another love triangle on cards?

Yeah I think that woman is already a part of Armaan’s life but I do not know what is the relationship, but yes this is what is.
