Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira gets a major clue about her long-lost daughter, Pookie

Star Plus' longest-running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, starring Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit, recently took a seven-year leap, introducing two new characters along with a grown-up Pookie. After the leap, the story takes a major turn. What was once the Poddar mansion is now the Bansal house, with Krish taking charge and running both the family and the business. The remaining Poddars still live in the house but are struggling under Krish's harsh behaviour. Meanwhile, Kaveri, Vidya, and Abhira have shifted to a modest life in a chawl, adjusting to a middle-class lifestyle.

On the other hand, Armaan, who had walked away from the Poddars and Abhira after Pookie went missing, was actually reunited with her by fate. Since then, he chose to distance himself from everyone and raise Pookie, now called Maira, alone in Mount Abu, working as an RJ. However, things take a new turn with Geetanjali and Dadu entering their lives. Maira doesn't know her real mother's identity as Armaan continues to hide the truth from her. Maira, who longs for a mother, hopes Armaan will marry Geetanjali. Geetanjali also has feelings for Armaan. Now, it will be interesting to see whether Geetanjali and Armaan grow closer or if Abhira will return before that happens.

In the upcoming episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira is seen stepping out with Kaveri and Vidya, all dressed in sarees, seemingly for a saree exhibition. While everything appears cheerful, Abhira suddenly receives a phone call from the police station that leaves her emotional and shaken. The inspector informs her that there's a significant update regarding her missing daughter, Pookie. Hearing this brings tears to Abhira's eyes, along with a spark of hope that she might finally reunite with her long-lost child. She immediately tells the inspector that she is on her way.

What Abhira doesn't know is that on the day Pookie went missing, she was found and handed over to Armaan, who has since raised her as Maira in Mount Abu.

Soon after, Abhira reaches the police station, anxious and breathless, desperate to know what information they have. The inspector presents a gold chain with Pookie's name engraved on it. Abhira instantly recognises it as her daughter's. Curious, she asks how it ended up at the police station. The inspector then points to the man from whom the chain was recovered, leaving Abhira stunned as she stares at him. While his identity hasn't been revealed yet, it's likely that he might be the person who handed over Pookie to Armaan all those years ago. If that's the case, Abhira may soon uncover the truth about her daughter's whereabouts, making it a major turning point in the storyline.
