Why was Nivin Ramani replaced from Gumraah?

The good looking actor Nivin Ramani, who was recently seen in Star Plus' popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum was roped in for an episodic of Channel V's Gumraah but unfortunately he couldn't do it.

While saving an old lady on the sets, Nivin injured his leg and later was replaced from that episodic.

Our source informs us, "After shooting for the first scene of Gumraah, Nivin was standing nearby a staircase where he saw an old lady stumbling down the stairs. He then helped the lady to get her balance right and while saving that lady he injured his leg. Later on, he was replaced as he was unable to shoot with an injury on his leg."  

When contacted Nivin, he said, "It was my bad luck that I couldn't do Gumraah because of my leg injury but I am happy that the old lady was saved. She could have got more injuries if she would have fallen from the stairs and her injuries would have taken more time to heal. There is a ligament tear in my leg and I asked the production house to replace me as I was unable to shoot."
