Reha Sukheja may be a new face for television audiences, but she has been around for a while in the world of fashion and film. Known for her work as a supermodel and her supporting role in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, Reha is now making headlines with her latest stint on the reality show Chhoriyan Chali Gaon.

Her entry into the show during its grand premiere on August 3 came as a surprise to many, marking her official television debut. Chhoriyan Chali Gaon brings together 11 urban celebrity women who must adapt to village life through physical and cultural challenges. Alongside Reha, the contestant lineup includes Anita Hassanandani, Aishwarya Khare, Krishna Shroff, Anjuum Faakih, Rameet Sandhu, Dolly Javed, Erica Packard, comedian Sumukhi Suresh, and digital creators Samriddhi and Surabhi Mehra.

Reha’s background in fashion goes back to 2010, when she became the first runner-up at Miss India Universe. She went on to walk for designers like Sabyasachi, Rohit Bal, and Manish Malhotra, and was a regular at fashion weeks for over a decade.

In 2023, Reha appeared in Atlee’s Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan. She was part of the all-female vigilante team that played a key role in the film’s story. The film became one of the biggest hits of the year and recently earned Shah Rukh Khan a National Award, his first in 33 years. Reha’s presence in the film, though limited, was part of a project that had wide reach and impact.

Now, with Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, Reha is trying something different, moving from ramp shows and films to a format where real-life challenges take center stage. Notably, she is the tallest contestant ever on an Indian reality show, which adds a point of interest for viewers.
