Vikrant Massey's 'The Sabarmati Report': Release date shifts to August

Vikrant Massey, riding high on the success of his recent film "12th Fail," has another exciting project in his lineup. The actor is set to star in "The Sabarmati Report," produced by Ektaa Kapoor. Despite initial buzz following the teaser release, there's been a change in plans regarding the film's release date.

Taking to social media, Vikrant Massey revealed the updated release date for "The Sabarmati Report." Originally slated for a May release, the film will now hit the screens on August 2, 2024.

Sharing a newspaper-style poster on his Instagram account, Massey unveiled the new release date along with the film's title and production details. The caption read, "Re-opening files of The Sabarmati Report, in cinemas on 2nd August!"

Back in February, both Vikrant Massey and the film's production team teased audiences with a video clip offering a glimpse into the storyline. Massey portrays the character of Samar Kumar, a Hindi journalist, in the film, which revolves around the events of February 27, 2002, during the Godhra incident.
