As per early estimates reported by Sacnilk.com, the film collected an impressive ₹2.8 crore on Sunday, marking a significant improvement.
The movie's total three-day collection now stands at ₹6.42 crore, demonstrating its growing popularity among the audience. On Sunday, '12th Fail' recorded higher Hindi occupancy at 24.41 percent, a promising sign of its growing appeal.
The film had initially opened at ₹1.1 crore and continued to gain momentum with a collection of ₹2.51 crore on Saturday. With this latest surge, '12th Fail' is drawing audiences with its story of ambition, dedication, and the resilience to overcome setbacks.
Based on Anurag Pathak's best-selling novel, the movie portrays the remarkable journey of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS officer Shraddha Joshi. Vikrant Massey stars as the 12th fail UPSC aspirant, and he is joined by Medha Shankar in this inspiring narrative.

Chopra shared his perspective on the project, saying, "My job as an artist or a filmmaker is to make the world slightly better than what it was when I came. So, if I can make a film that can make a slight difference in people's lives, it inspires me. Money has never driven me. I could have made Munnabhai 3, 4, 5, 6... and become a multi-millionaire, which I'm not. I chose to make '12th Fail' with Vikrant Massey."
