Vikas Verma in Sony TV's 'Chandragupta Maurya'

After Porus, Swastik Productions is gearing up for its next project, Chandragupta Maurya on Sony TV. It is a historical drama for which the makers have decided to run it as a continuation of Porus. As we know, Chanakya is the common link in both the historical tales, so the makers have roped in actor Tarun Khanna for playing Chanakya in the upcoming show as he already played the same character in Porus. In fact, Chandragupta Maurya will be replacing Porus which will end on 9th of November.

According to reports, model and actor Vikas Verma has been roped in to play an important character in the show. He'll be playing a negative character, Seleucus, who is a rude and arrogant ruler. Vikas has worked in Bollywood movies and television shows as well. He has also been a part of historical shows like Ek Veer Stree ki Kahaani Jhansi Ki Rani and Tenali Rama.

Reportedly, the show will launch on 12th of November.
