Veteran Lillete Dubey Joins Mahesh Bhatt's Upcoming Jio Series?

Actor Lillete Dubey is undoubtedly one of the most talented yet very underrated actors there are. Apart from appearing in some films over the years, Dubey has been very selective about taking up her projects over the years and has largely focused on theatre.

However, it seems Dubey is all set to take over the digital world now as reports suggest that she has been roped in to play an important role in Jio Studios' upcoming series.

It is already known that none other than Mahesh Bhatt is all set to make his digital debut with an upcoming web show that will be based on the relationship of a struggling filmmaker and a top actress of the 70’s era. Just like Woh Lamhe (film) earlier, this web series is said to be based on Bhatt's life loosely and Dubey has been roped in to play Bhatt's mother in the show.

Jio Studios has joined hands with Bhatt's Vishesh Film banner for the show where Amala Paul, Tahir Raj Bhasin, and Amrita Puri will play lead roles in the show.
