Vaibhavi Upadhyaya suffered major head injuries and went into cardiac arrest, case of rash driving registered

Vaibhavi Upadhyaya’s death has sent shock waves in the entertainment industry. Earlier yesterday, the news of Vaibhavi passing away after a car accident broke the internet and people from the world of entertainment who knew her have been mourning her loss.

While it is reported that the actress passed away in a fatal road accident, details about the accident and what exactly happened has now come out. According to SP Kullu Sakshi Verma’s statement to the PTI, “Vaibhavi tried to get out of the vehicle through the window and sustained a head injury which proved fatal. She was rushed to Banjar Civil Hospital where the doctors declared her dead."

She further added, “Upadhyaya died on Monday after her SUV fell into a gorge near Sidhwan in the Banjar area of Kullu. The accident occurred when the driver of the car was negotiating a steep curve.”

JD Majethia, the producer of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai stated in an interview that Vaibhavi’s fiancé has escaped the accident with a few minor injuries, however, Vaibhavi was gone in a flash. He also revealed that the actress who was not wearing her seatbelt suffered major head injuries and due to this went into cardiac arrest. 

Vaibhavi’s mortal remains were then handed over to her brother Ankit. A case of rash and negligent driving endangering life has been registered and the investigation is under process, revealed a police officer.
