Vahbiz Dorabjee : "You should try to be original and not try to copy"

Reflecting on fashion, Vahbiz expresses, "I am a fashion enthusiast. It is an extension of my personality, allowing me to be the way I am: bold, confident, and, since I am curvy, embracing and enjoying my curves. Fashion holds a lot of significance in my life because I believe even colors play a big part. When we wear different colors, it affects our mood. It gives you a lot of confidence and a boost when you are looking your best."

Regarding her approach to fashion trends, Vahbiz shares, "Honestly, I just pick up whatever I like. Trends keep changing from time to time, but I don’t wear anything and everything; I wear something that suits my body type. I shop a lot online, so I always know what all is going on in the latest."

When discussing fashion icons and influences, Vahbiz says, "Kareena Kapoor Khan is always incredibly dressed. She's a bombshell." She also admires Manish Malhotra, she says, "For me, the biggest fashion icon is Manish Malhotra. I love the way he dresses actresses."

On the topic of social media and influencer culture, she observes, "Everybody is trying to grab the eyeballs to come in the limelight. Today, everybody has Instagram. You should try to be original and not try to copy. So everybody is trying their best to do whatever they can, and there is no harm in that." In balancing comfort and fashion, Vahbiz emphasizes, "I prioritize both. I won’t wear something that is extremely uncomfortable because then it will show in my body language."

Reflecting on her career's fashion highlights, she recalls, "For me, the last year has been very special because I have won tons of awards, all in the fashion vlogging genre. Anything and everything I wear has always been appreciated." Offering advice for enhancing personal style, she suggests, "Don’t overthink so much. Always be confident and try new styles. Experiment with lots of styles and fashion statements" she ends.
