Prisha Dhatwalia, who is seen as Bhavya in Sunjoy Waddhwa’s Meri Bhavya Life, which is produced under his banner Sphereorigins, agrees that TV is a demanding medium. However, she stresses that once a show builds a strong connection with a TV show, it is forever.
She said, “TV is quite demanding. And considering how people have now shifted to OTT and have a shorter attention span, it has changed a lot of things for TV actors, I feel. Although this is my debut as an audience member, as someone who was an audience member before, I can also feel that a lot of people have switched. However, the people who do watch us on a daily basis are really connected to us, and they watch us very religiously. That is something good about this medium.”
She mentions that TV actors become a part of the audience’s daily lives as it connects them better to the audience. She added, “Because it’s not just about one episode, we become a part of their homes and their families.”

An actor is not only a source of entertainment for the audience but also becomes an inspiration for them. She said, “People imitating us, I think it’s fine. Imitating outfits, inspired words, inspired characters, or even trying to inculcate them in their life—I don’t think it’s a problem. I actually think it’s quite cute of them to do so.” However, she added that the audience should know that it’s all fiction and life needs more practical approaches than rosy tales.
Her parents are loving her as Bhavya and called her a natural on-screen. Sharing their feedback, Prisha said, “I’m really happy that people are able to identify my acting as natural. Most probably because I’m somewhat like the character I’m playing right now in real life too, so it just reflects to them. And I do it with a lot of conviction and honesty. I’m just very happy that people are able to relate and feel that it’s neither too much nor too little. That’s something I’m really grateful for.”
