TRP Toppers: Rupali Ganguly's Anupamaa loses 1st spot to Smriti Irani's Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2

India Forums is back with an updated T list of the top 5 shows on the TRP charts based on their performance last week. While there are some shows that have performed exceptionally well, some others have seen huge and significant dips. Read ahead to know which shows are ruling the TRP charts this week.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi:

Topping the TRP charts in its very first week? Now that’s a feat only a show like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 could have pulled off. Launched amidst massive buzz and anticipation, the makers have once again proven that when it comes to playing the television game, few can match their expertise. From a storyline that reflects the sensibilities of today’s audience to the nostalgic pull of a beloved legacy, KSBKBT 2 has ticked all the right boxes. With a rating of 2.3, it has claimed the No. 1 spot on the TRP charts. That said, while the show has taken the top position, the number itself: 2.3; might not seem as impressive when weighed against the scale of pre-release hype. It signals a strong start, but perhaps not yet a game-changer for the overall TRP landscape.

Anupamaa:

Pushed down to the 2nd spot this week, while it was pretty predictable that Rupali Ganguly's Anupamaa may not be able to keep up to the buzz of both Smriti Irani's comeback and the re release of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi- the much beloved show, Anupamaa has still managed to maintain similar numbers as Kyunki 2, despite slipping down to the second spot and losing its numero uno spot. Only the upcoming weeks will tell which leading daily reality show is able to sustain its numero uno rating and which slips down.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai:

Slipped down from the 2nd to the 3rd spot this week, Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit's YRKKH, has not only seen a dip in the position but it has also seen a slight dip in the ratings as well and has gone from 2.1 points last week to 2.0 points this week. The current track of YRKKH sees Abhira learn about Maira's truth and further reunites with her.

Laughter Chefs 2:

Well, the grand finale of Laughter Chefs 2 was a superhit and the ratings this week are a proof. Bagging the fourth spot this week, Laughter Chefs 2 has managed to garner 2.0 points, outdoing several other shows in the top 5 race. For those who do not know, Laughter Chefs 2 grand finale was won by Elvish Yadav and Karan Kundrra.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma:

Slipped down from the 3rd spot last week to the fifth spot this week, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma has however managed to secure the same-1.9 points like last week.

Apart from the above mentioned shows, while Udne Ki Aasha has now slipped out of the top 5 race, newly launched shows like Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shehad Shehad and Tu Dhadkan Main Dil are failing to impress week after week.
