Tirupati Laddu Row: Here's the fact behind Suriya's Deeksha post to Pawan Kalyan after Karthi's comments

Tirupati Temple authorities held a three-hour long purification ritual after it was discovered that the laddu Prasad contained animal fat. Actors like Pawan Kalyan, Karthi and Prakash Raj are also caught in the matter. Karthi was in Hyderabad to promote his film, Meiyazhan titled Satyam Sundaram in Telugu. It was hosted by Manjusha who made an inappropriate comment about laddu and motichoor laddu. Karthi retorted that Laddu was a sensitive topic and it was better to refrain from it. While the majority of netizens praised how Karthi avoided any controversy, Manjusha came under fire from people on social media. 

Telugu superstar and Jnansena leader Pawan Kalyan lashed out on Karthi on X. He reacted, “Don't joke on laddus. Laddu is a sensitive topic...don't you ever say that. Don't you ever say that? I respect you as an actor but when it comes to Sanatana Dharma, please, you have to think 100 times before saying a word. one comment.” Just after this, Karthi put out a heartfelt apology on social media. He wrote on X, “Dear @PawanKalyan Sir, with deep respects to you, I apologize for any unintended misunderstanding caused. As a humble devotee of Lord Venkateswara, I always hold our traditions dear. Best regards.”

Now, a handle posted an apology from Suriya Sivakumar saying that he would do Deeksha for three days to apologize for his brother’s comments. Pawan Kalyan said he will do a penance for 11 days to atone for this sin. He is going to fast for 11 days, and will take Darshan on the final day. The post allegedly from Suriya Sivakumar’s handle read, “I am deeply sorry for the comments made by my brother on laddu in the recent audio function and for that I am also going for 3 Days Deeksha for my brother's words @PawanKalyan garu.”
