Thumbs up or Thumbs Down - A weekly column in our News Hub - Telly Buzz that will give the latest twists and turns in the serials brought about to capture its' audience. Indian Idol 3: This show is doing better than our expectations, definitely better than last year as this year they have introduced new concept like people from different countries can vote now, Piano round has been replaced by live band round and singers are good too,all in all a good show full of entertainment and less on drama! Virrudh: A must watch show for the people who appreciate good quality acting and are in serach for something different, the acting of sushant singh and Vikram Gokhale along with Anchit Kaur and Smriti Irani is USP of this show and soon its going to be recognised by the audiences as well. Kasturi: The show is moving on a very fast pace. This week we saw Kasturi confessing her love to Robbie. Robbie & Kasturi shared some really cute romantic moments along with some hilarious one. It was definately a treat to watch. Meri Awaaz Ko Mil Gaye Roshini: The serial is picking up good pace. Sudha and Raj seems to develop tiny miny feelings for each other and just then a twist comes and a new character Raj rich and famous comes in and starts taking interest in Sudha. Well why is all love story going triangle now? Koffee with Karan: The talk show seems to target the right celebrity to generate interest. Last week it was Ekta Kapoor with her 3 blue eyed boys Hiten Tejwani, Ram Kappoor, Ronit Roy sitting right next to her. Thumbs up to Ekta for the attitude and temperament that she has to rule Indian Television. Seems no one can match her aura and persona.. No wonder she is still single. Thumbs Down Amul-Voice Of India: Show is a big let down as drama is taking a centre stage here as well. Singers are somewhat average and the show seems to loosing ground pretty fast. Seems Gajendra singh has failed to cast his spell on the audiences this time round. Karam Apna Apna: This serial is continously failing to impress the audience ever since Iqbal Khan left the show. Leap, time change just shows that Ekta is trying desperately to revive the show. Serial now shifted to afternoon slot. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa-Challenge 2007: This is the show that is lacking good quality singers the most. Hope the singers show more class and versatality!!!
Kumkum: Dragging the plot with too much focus on Nivedita's plan against Kumkum.. Will Nivedita succeed in destroying Kumkum's life? Less of Sumit Kumkum and the younger generation more focus on vamps Nivedita & Katara Durgesh Nandini : The big twist before the show ended on thursday. Just when the engagement of Durgesh Nandinii and Sikandar is taking place his past surface back in his life and he declares that he is allready married. Well, the audience feels decieved as they were eagerly waiting to see Durgesh Nandinii and Sikandar uniting.
