On National Engineers Day, it's a perfect time to reflect on Kartik Aaryan's journey, which includes some interesting revelations from his mom, Mala Tiwari. Kartik, who is currently preparing for his upcoming film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, has always impressed the audience with his acting skills. However, his path to stardom had its share of twists. His mother recently shared a funny story that highlights her wish for Kartik to pursue engineering, though he ultimately became an actor.
During an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, Mala revealed that Kartik used to attend coaching classes during his board exams. She had instructed the teacher to inform her if Kartik missed any classes. One day, Kartik left for coaching but didn’t show up. The next day, after the teacher informed her, Mala followed Kartik and found him playing video games at a parlor. She humorously recalled, "Itna gussa aaya ki kya uthaa ke maar dun, phir maine sandal pehna tha, wahi utara."
Mala also shared that she was disappointed when Kartik landed his first role in Pyaar Ka Punchnama. She said, "Main chahti thi doctor ya engineer bane. 8–10 saal mein thok peet ke engineering karwai ki degree to le le." Despite her desire for him to focus on his studies, Kartik had other dreams, and Mala dedicated herself to making sure he completed his education.
Mala further added another incident where Kartik went for an exam at DY Patil College. As they arrived in their third-hand car, she was revising important topics with him. After the exam, when she asked how it went, Kartik humorously replied, "Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 ki script likh ke aaya hun!"
In addition to these anecdotes, Kartik is all set for the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 this Diwali. Following that, he will appear in Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 and Anurag Basu’s upcoming musical love story.
Kartik’s story proves that sometimes dreams take unexpected turns, but the results can still be extraordinary.
