After roping in seasoned actors, Sarita Joshi and Apara Mehta to play pivotal roles, JD Majethia has brought in a fresh face to play an extremely unusual character for the upcoming show, 'Bakula Bua Ka Bhoot'.
This character is going to be played by Muskan Bhamne. It is going to be quite an unconventional role of a girl who can communicate with God and inanimate objects.
A little too hatke for TV?
TV seldom gives us character portrayals that are memorable for their stellar techniques. 'Bakula Bua Ka Bhoot' promises to be a supernatural comedy with Sarita Joshi in the lead role. But, what caught our attention was the use of dramatic elements.
Our sources tell us that the newest addition to the cast will be carrying out the role of a ventriloquist. Ventriloquism revolves around voicing sounds and dialogues without showing the movement of lips. Mostly done with puppets in theater plays, this technique will be pulled off with the objects within the show by Dabbu (the character to be played by Muskan).
The actress went through training for ventriloquism. Illusion and mastering various voices is a huge part of this technique and we hope the act doesn't disappoint us on TV.
On this, the actress stated, "I'm thrilled to be a part of 'Bakula Bua Ka Bhoot' where my character is that of a simple yet quirky girl who talks to things. To get into the skin of the character, I have started training where I am able to create different voices - it's tough but a wonderful experience."
Pulling off theater elements is a major challenge that daily soaps usually shy away from. The current bunch of popular shows is surely not doing anything like it and we wonder how this dark horse will fair.
