The show must go on says LapataGanj!

A few days ago we broke the news about the demolition of SAB TV's LapataGanj sets by BMC officials. Further we mentioned about a few crew members being arrested on account of a brawl that occurred on the sets.

A reliable source stressing on the situation post the demolition states, "The set was demolished by the BMC officials, therefore nothing has been left with the production team to work on. The crew who was arrested on the day got released yesterday on bail. As the production team had a bank of episodes of the show, it was alright to telecast the episodes for two days."

"Once the bank gets over, the show will be left with nothing to telecast. Therefore ignoring the situation of the set, they have started shooting in Film City filming an outdoor scene of Raam Leela. The production bearing the loss has erected a new temporary set in Filmcity just to go on with the shoot without any telecast fault, "adds source.

We contacted Preeti Amin aka Surili and she confirmed saying, "Yes, we are shooting at Film city so that we can match up to the telecast till our set gets rebuilt."
