The assault that occurred on filmmaker, Sanjay Leela Bhansali on the sets of 'Padmavati' became a major controversy and has enraged several people.

While Sanjay Bhansali and several others are trying to get over it and have now decided to re-locate to Mumbai for the shoot ahead, looks like the effects of this massacre have now led to problems for the upcoming mega historical show, 'Maharaja Ranjit Singh.'

The show has been in the news due to the scale it is being shot on and the various historical adaptations. Also, for the sheer fact that the show has roped in a stellar star cast to play pivotal roles.

But, to safeguard their shooting and taking apt precautions, the show decided to halt the shoot for a day.

It so happened that the palace officials had not given permission to shoot at the location that particular day, fearing the protesters would target that set too.

Shaleen Bhanot, who plays an important role in the show, mentioned that this whole assault issue has shaken the industry and these are just precautions taken to be safe than sorry.

And meanwhile...

Actor Sidharth Vasudev, who is best known for his roles in 'Sasural Simar Ka' and 'Kasamh Se' is also making his comeback to TV with a role in 'Sher-E-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh', where he will play the negative role of Saheb Singh Gujratia.
