'Tera Mera Saath Rahe' actor Varunn Jain returns to screen with web series 'Screwed Up'

Actor Varunn Jain is thrilled to return back on the screen post his previous show 'Tera Mera Saath Rahe' went off the air in June 2022. He will star in the web series 'Screwed Up' by Harry Nath.

He said, "The series is a story of how a unique turn of events happens and changes everyone's lives. I'm playing the role of Nikhil, who is very impulsive, unpredictable, bold, brash and relatable. I feel blessed to enact a role like this which is very versatile with an upswing of emotions. I enjoyed the shoots and was thrilled to essay such a challenging role. I gave it my all." 

Varunn, who made his acting debut in 2010 from the TV serial ‘Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha’ did his first kissing scene with the series. He continued, "In my acting career, I essayed different roles, but I never went bold before. It was the first time I was influenced to shoot for a kissing scene. With time we needed to explore and grow; there was nothing taboo about it. We shoot professionally and aesthetically, completing the requirement of scenes. And it was not vulgar at all."

Varun also revealed shooting in Goa was fun. "The shoot happened in Goa, and it was fun to spend some time there. Most people go for holidays, and when work allows you to breathe in such an amazing environment, you can't ask for more. I hope my audience shows the same amount of love and appreciation they did for my previous shows like Diya Aur Baati Hum,’ ‘Mere Angne Mein,’ ‘Pahredar Piya Ki,’ ‘Rista Likhenge Hum Naya’ among others."

The series stars actors like Saloni Chopra, Shishir Sharma, Manasi Rachh, Inaamulhaq, Tithi Raaj and will air on Hungama Play.
