Tamannaah Bhatia reveals the truth about her alleged past with two famous cricketers

Tamannaah Bhatia, who has spent nearly two decades in the film industry, has finally addressed the persistent rumours linking her to two high-profile cricketers Virat Kohli and Abdul Razzaq. Known for her work across Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu cinema, the actress recently opened up about the speculations in a candid interview with The Lallantop.

Referring to Virat Kohli, Tamannaah clarified that the association was nothing beyond a brief professional interaction. “I feel so bad because I literally met him for only one day,” she said. “Na maine unse baat ki, na unse mili hoon.” The rumours stemmed from a commercial they appeared in together over a decade ago. A single frame from that shoot had triggered a wave of gossip, but as Tamannaah now points out, that moment was blown far out of proportion.

The conversation then shifted to an even more bizarre internet theory, a supposed secret marriage with former Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq. The story seems to have gained traction after a picture of the two at a jewellery store went viral.

Tamannaah addressed it with a mix of amusement and disbelief. “Mazaak mazaak mein Abdul Razzaq! The internet is a fun place,” she laughed. “Yaa, according to the internet, I was briefly married to Abdul Razzaq.”

She folded her hands and joked, “I’m sorry sir, aapke do-teen bachhe hain… I don’t know what your life is!” She explained that the image was taken at a jewellery store launch they had attended coincidentally, not as a couple.

Reflecting on how fame brings its own challenges, she said, “It’s very awkward. Jab koi bhi taalluq nahi hota hai aur log bana dete hain.” For Tamannaah, public speculation is something she has grown to accept over time. “Jisko jaisa sochna hai, wo waisa hi sochega,” she added. With grace and humour, the actress seems content letting rumours run their course without letting them shape her truth.
