Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has recently been making headlines since she opened up about her relationship with Vijay Varma. Yesterday, the actress was spotted at the airport as she arrived at the bay post her Maldives vacay. Well, shifting gears from her personal front, the actress shared a special video marking her 18 years in showbiz.

In a recent Instagram post, the Lust Stories 2 actress took a moment to look back on her remarkable journey from being a "damsel in distress" to a "badass bouncer" and now a "fearless investigator." 

Tamannaah, who has charmed audiences with her beauty and acting prowess, celebrates her 18-year-long odyssey in the world of cinema, which she lovingly describes as her "first true love." With many heart emojis, she radiates joy and gratitude for the incredible voyage.

Compiling her journey in a video, she wrote, "From teen dreams to adult realisations…. from a damsel in distress and the girl next door to a badass bouncer and now a fearless investigator… what a ride it’s been! 18 years on this journey to eternity with my first true love… acting. 🥰 Anya is an extremely special role for me. Playing a cop in a gripping narrative like Aakhri Sach was a challenge for sure… but one I welcomed with open arms. My attempt was to channel every emotion into this character and do complete justice to it. But what truly stands out in her Instagram caption is the mention of "Anya," a character that holds a special place in her heart. Tamannaah reveals that portraying a cop in the gripping narrative of "Aakhri Sach" was indeed a challenge,one that she embraced wholeheartedly. 

Talking about her work front, Tamannaah was last seen in Disney+ Hotstar's Aakhri Sach. She played the lead investigator in the show, which is said to be based on the 2018 Burari case. Before this, she was seen alongside Rajinikanth in the blockbuster film Jailer, which was released on August 10.
