Swara Bhasker opens up on the journey of motherhood: "It's the hardest thing I've ever done"

Swara Bhasker, the Bollywood actress renowned for her impactful performances and outspoken nature, has embarked on a beautiful journey into motherhood. She and her husband, activist Fahad Ahmad, recently welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Raabiyaa, into their lives, sharing the joyous news on social media. While they have been sharing glimpses of their new life as parents, Swara Bhasker candidly acknowledges that childbirth is no easy feat.

In a recent interview with the Times of India, Swara Bhasker opened up about the challenges of childbirth. She expressed, "It's a blessing. It's also the hardest thing I've ever done. I can't believe that women have done this for millennia without epidurals and multiple times." 

Her words echo the sentiments of countless mothers who have marveled at the strength and resilience that the journey of childbirth demands.

Despite the hardships, Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad are filled with gratitude for the unwavering support they received from their medical team, family, and friends during pregnancy and childbirth. 

Swara expressed her appreciation, saying, "Fahad and I are so grateful for all the help and support we've had from our doctors and the teams and staff at the hospital, as well as our family, friends, and well-wishers. We are blessed to be enveloped in love. The birthing experience really makes you realize that we don't thank our mothers enough."

Swara Bhasker, who has made her mark in Bollywood with her bold and impactful roles, tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend and social activist Fahad Ahmad on February 16 of this year. The new parents announced the arrival of their precious bundle of joy, Raabiyaa, on September 23, marking the beginning of this remarkable phase in their lives. Their journey into parenthood is a new chapter filled with joy, challenges, and, above all, an abundance of love.
