His daughter Athiya Shetty and her husband, KL Rahul, recently revealed the name of their baby as Evaarah. Suniel, reflecting on the new addition to his family, shared that he often finds himself looking at Evaara's adorable pictures on his phone.

During a conversation with ANI, Suniel Shetty shared his joy of becoming a grandfather and the emotional impact of welcoming baby Evaara. "She is not a superstar – she is a super duper star," he said.

On March 24, KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty announced that they welcomed their first child, a baby girl. They shared a joint post on Instagram that read, “Blessed with a Baby Girl. 24.03.2025. Athiya And Rahul." Athiya’s brother Ahan Shetty shared the post on his Instagram stories, expressing his joy at becoming an uncle. Meanwhile, her father Suniel Shetty also got emotional, and shared the great news on his Instagram story along with a heart and evil eye emoji.

Suniel Shetty is preparing for his upcoming film, Kesari Veer: Legends of Somnath, alongside Sooraj Pancholi. Recently, the actor's comment calling the cult classic Hera Pheri a "patriotic film" went viral, generating interest, especially with Hera Pheri 3 in development.

Kesari Veer: Legend Of Somnath is scheduled for release on May 16. Directed by Prince Dhiman and Kanu Chauhan, the film features Suniel Shetty, Sooraj Pancholi, Vivek Oberoi, and Akansha Sharma in the main cast.
