Stree 2 fame Shraddha Kapoor pledges to disclose her character's name to a fan, but there's a surprise

Shraddha Kapoor is on cloud nine with the success of her recent release, Stree 2, which hit the screens on Independence Day 2024. In this sequel, she revisited her enigmatic character from the first installment, keeping her name shrouded in mystery from the audience once again. Recently, Shraddha shared some sneak peeks from behind the scenes of the movie and engaged with her fans. The actress teased her followers by promising to unveil her character's name, but here's the twist - she playfully announced that the big reveal would happen in Stree 3.

Recently, Shraddha Kapoor hopped onto Instagram and dropped a reel filled with behind-the-scenes snapshots from Stree 2. The reel showcased various selfies and images of Shraddha in her character's attire. One particular photo captured director Amar Kaushik seated with her character's impactful choti (braid) wrapped around his neck. Shraddha also included some of her movie posters and gave a glimpse into the filming of a few action sequences.

So, in the audio, she mixed the romantic song Tumhare Hi Rahenge Hum with the totally opposite Chamatkaari Choti theme. Her caption, “50% Pookie 50% Maaru kya???” perfectly captured the dual essence of her characters.

In the comments, Shraddha Kapoor had a playful exchange with her fans. Someone queried, “But name kya tha ye to batado (But tell us what was your name),” to which the actress replied, “Pakka bataungi! Stree 3 mein (I will tell for sure in Stree 3).” 

A user questioned, “Ye pokkie kya hota hai re? (What is this pookie?)” and Shraddha delivered a witty comeback. She quipped, “Memes studies mein aur dhyaan do, pata chal jayega (Focus on memes studies, and you'll figure it out).”

A comment read, “Thappar sy dar nai lgta, Stree sy lgta hai! (I’m not scared of a slap but of Stree),” and Shraddha stated, “Choti se lagta hai (Braid creates fear).”

Stree 2 ke cast mein Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, aur Aparshakti Khurana shaamil hain. Stree 2 is a follow-up to the 2018 movie Stree. It picks up from the original story and brings the audience back to Chanderi, where a new antagonist named Sarkata is causing fear among the locals. The creators have announced the upcoming production of Stree 3 and other projects within the Maddock Supernatural Universe.
