Sonam Kapoor announces pregnancy with husband Anand Ahuja

Actress Sonam Kapoor has announced her first pregnancy. She turned to Instagram to post a couple photos of herself and her husband, Anand Ahuja. It showed her on the couch with Anand caressing her baby bump while she lied in his arms.

"Four hands," she wrote along the images. “ To raise you to the best of our ability. Two hearts exist. It will beat in unison with yours at every step. A solitary family. Who will shower you with affection and support? "We're very excited to meet you."#everydayphenomenal #comingthisfall2022”.

Several celebrities and fans congratulated the couple on their exciting news. "Wohoooooooo soo happy for you both. Can't wait to see the babies play." "Such wonderful news!!!" wrote Dia Mirza. “So happy for you." "Congratulations," wrote Ananya Pandey. 

Sonam Kapoor married Anand Ahuja in May 2018. She is the eldest child of actor Anil Kapoor and actress Sunita Kapoor. Sonam has had to refute pregnancy rumours several times since her wedding. After new rumours appeared in July of last year, Sonam tweeted a boomerang video of herself having a hot drink. "Hot water bottle and ginger tea for the first day of my period..." she captioned the photo. 

Sonam was most recently seen in the 2019 film The Zoya Factor. The actor co-starred with Dulquer Salmaan in the film. She then appeared in Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap's AK vs AK on Netflix in 2020.
