Shreyas Talpade opens up about life after near-fatal cardiac arrest

In a startling turn of events, beloved actor Shreyas Talpade encountered a life-threatening cardiac arrest last year on December 14, 2023, at the age of 48, sending shockwaves through the film industry.

Talking to Pinkvilla, Shreyas Talpade opened up about the profound impact of the incident on his life. Reflecting on the transformation, he shared, "Life has taken on a more relaxed and calmer pace. Previously, I was sprinting like a horse, solely focused on advancing my career. But suddenly, everything changed after that one incident, for the better."

Shreyas emphasized his newfound priority for family and health, highlighting the deepened bond he shares with his daughter. 

He expressed gratitude for the beautiful moments he now cherishes, acknowledging how easily they were taken for granted before.

In an earlier interview with Indian Express, Shreyas revealed his initial fear for his life and the subsequent adjustment to a slower pace. He emphasized the importance of gradual recovery, anticipating a timeline of four to six months before fully resuming work.

While looking ahead, Shreyas remains steadfast in his commitment to his reshaped priorities. Known for his memorable performances in films like "Om Shanti Om," "Iqbal," "Dor," and the "Golmaal" franchise, Shreyas Talpade's upcoming projects include the eagerly awaited "Welcome To The Jungle," the third installment of the popular "Welcome" series, and "Luv You Shankar," set to release on April 19.
