Shatrughan Sinha's health update: Discharged after routine check-up & rib injury evaluation

Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha, who recently celebrated his daughter Sonakshi Sinha's wedding to Zaheer Iqbal in June, was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai for a routine check-up. After spending a week under medical observation, Sinha was discharged on Tuesday, July 2.

Filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani, a close friend of Shatrughan Sinha, confirmed the actor's discharge, expressing his joy that Sinha had returned home safely.

Sinha was admitted to the hospital on June 26 after sustaining a rib injury at his home. 

The incident occurred when the Dostana actor tripped in his dining room as he stood up from his couch, causing his foot to hit the corner of a carpet. Fortunately, his daughter Sonakshi was nearby and helped him immediately.

Although initially treated at home, Sinha later complained of persistent rib pain, prompting his doctor to recommend a hospital visit for a thorough check-up. The routine examination was to ensure that there were no internal injuries from the fall.

Following the news of his hospitalization, newlyweds Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal were seen visiting the hospital to check on him. The couple had tied the knot in a civil ceremony on June 23 in Bandra, Mumbai.
