Sharman Joshi seems to be having a tough time with his 10-year old daughter, who is not happy with her father's role in his upcoming film 'Hate Story 3'.

The 'Ferrari Ki Sawari' actor was the first one to show his daughter the promo as he wanted to make her acquainted with his character in the film.

He was quoted by a leading daily, "I was the first one to show promo of my film and her reaction wasn't too good to it." [sic]

He further added, "Thanks to her cousin sister who made her understand that this is a part of my work. Well, I might have to bribe her with chocolates or holiday but I think she is fine." [sic]

According to Sharman, his daughter's friends' fathers also belong to the industry and he hopes this will help his 10-year old understand his work better.

Sharman, who has been always seen in character driven contemporary roles, will be seen in a bold character for the first time. Sources said he first refused to sign the film but later on agreed as he found it challenging in comparison to his previous roles.

Hate Story 3 directed by Vishal Pandya, is an erotic thriller starring Sharman Joshi, Daisy Shah, Karan Singh Grover and Zarine Khan. It is slated to release on December 4, 2015.

I can't understand why he would show his daughter the prom

I can't understand why he would show his daughter the promo. She's only 10. No need to expose her to this sort of stuff at such a young age. She has plenty of time to understand her father's work. Mind boggling reasoning on Sharman's part.

Sharman showed the Hate Story 3 trailer to a 10 year old? I understand it's his work and his kid needs to be acquainted with it. But there is a reason the movie is rated for Adults, because it is only suitable for adults. It would be quite natural she would feel awkward watching this trailer. It may have been better if he had not shown it to her. But then these days everything is online. So maybe he thought he would show it to her before someone else did! I have always liked Sharman, so I wish him the best for HS3.
