Thapar also went on to share the symptoms of PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and how it can be diagnosed. She elaborated on the risks linked to delayed diagnosis, such as higher risks of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and infertility. Thapar stressed the need for increased awareness and prompt treatment, highlighting that PCOS often goes undiagnosed for extended periods.
