Shanaya Kapoor and Tusharr Khanna to Star in "Student of the Year 3"?

Karan Johar's "Student of the Year" franchise continues to generate excitement. While the first two parts have already captivated audiences, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the third installment. Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor, has been cast as the female lead, and the buzz surrounding the male leads is intensifying.

Sources indicate that actor Tusharr Khanna has auditioned for a starring role and is a potential candidate. If selected, he would share the screen with Shanaya and another male actor, whose identity remains under wraps.

Auditions for the male lead have been happening for a long time now. Tusharr (Khanna) also auditioned, and it went well. The casting team is impressed and is considering signing him as one of the male leads. But nothing has been finalised as of now

Tusharr is recognized for his roles in television shows like "Naagin" and "Piya Albela." He made his Bollywood debut last year with "Starfish," but the film failed to achieve commercial success.

The original "Student of the Year" film premiered in 2012, launching the careers of three actors: Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra. The second installment in the franchise arrived in 2019, featuring Tiger Shroff alongside Ananya Panday, Tara Sutaria, and Aditya Seal.

Last year, Karan Johar celebrated the 12th anniversary of the first "Student of the Year" film with a heartfelt post on Instagram. He wrote, "Let's start with... there's something about 'today,' something very special!!! 12 years and I look back at the film I embarked on, solely to have the best time of my life. And best time, it was! #SOTY."
