Hollywood pop icon Selena Gomez, has added her voice to the growing number of celebrities who are speaking out about the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict. Gomez, who has been noticeably absent from social media recently, made her return to Instagram to share a heartfelt message condemning the violence against innocent civilians, particularly children.

In her post, Selena Gomez expressed her deep concern about the Israel-Palestine conflict and the distressing events unfolding worldwide. 

She condemned the hatred, violence, and terror plaguing our world, emphasizing the horrors of people being tortured and killed, as well as any acts of hatred directed towards any group. 

The singer and actress also acknowledged the limitations of her post, despite her significant online following. She expressed her frustration, saying, "I've been taking a break from social media because my heart breaks to see all of the horror, hate, violence and terror that's going on in the world. People being tortured and killed or any act of hate towards any one group is horrific. We need to protect ALL people, especially children and stop the violence for good. I'm sorry if my words will never be enough for everyone or a hashtag. I just can't stand by innocent people getting hurt. That's what makes me sick. I wish I could change the world. But a post won't. Love, Selena."

Selena Gomez's comments come in the midst of escalating tensions and violence in the Israel-Palestine conflict. Israeli troops and tanks launched an attack on Gaza's main northern city, continuing a major ground offensive in the Palestinian enclave.
