Actress Sara Khan, who has entertained us over the years with her acting skills in Bidaai, Ram Milaye Jodi, Junoon–Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq, considers herself very lucky to be able to make a career in what she loves to do. The actress says that parents must support their kids, and not pressure them to choose particular career paths.

“I consider myself fortunate to have been given an opportunity before completing my studies or even determining my desired path. I believe it is unnecessary to impose parental wishes on children; rather, parents should guide and educate them on what is right and wrong, allowing the child to make their own decisions. What is the point of excessively studying something if it serves no purpose?” she says.

She adds, “As I mentioned before, I have been fortunate in life and with the support of my family, pursuing opportunities has become easier for me. This is because I do not come from a background in the film industry.”

Talking about her struggle, she says, “When I was very young and gained fame, I did not fully grasp the situation and made incorrect decisions regarding unnecessary spending. I never allowed anyone to guide me, but now I have gained valuable experiences that have helped me understand the importance of money and relationships.”

She adds, “It is important to listen to your elders and occasionally seek their guidance. They are not always wrong. Prioritise quality advice. I strongly believe in luck and that anything is possible with hard work and positive thinking. However, I do not believe in simply waiting for luck to come to me.”
