Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali might be a while away before witnessing a release but there has been an array of developments going on for mostly the wrong reasons. It was only yesterday when we went on to report how actor Aayush Sharma went on to quit the film citing creative differences.
The same report also mentioned how this fallout included director and writer Farhad Samji as well. Then it was mentioned how superstar Salman Khan, who is the face of the film and also the producer was seemingly 'ghost-directing' the film as well. Now, another report has emerged that Khan being the main man stepped in to resolve the creative differences between Sharma and Samji.
In fact, the report stated that Khan was the one who told Sharma that if the issues were unable to be resolved, then the best option would be for Sharma to leave the film. It was only after Khan's point that Sharma took the final call of stepping away from the film.
It was this episode that prompted Zaheer Iqbal to follow suit, too. This led to actors Jassie Gill and Siddharth NIgam replacing them and coming in.
Coming to Samji's involvement in the saga, a source claimed that whatever was written and chattered about is nothing but idle gossip and holds no truth or value to it. The production house plans to announce the project and its cast very soon. Recently there were rumors that Samji is not directing the film, which is absolutely a false. Samji has been visiting the set from day one of it being built. He is spending more and more time on the set only because the shoot is about to start.
