Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif Strongly Condemn Pahalgam Terror Attack, Call for Peace and Justice

India woke up to a heartbreaking tragedy as a horrific terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, claimed 26 innocent lives on April 22. The shocking incident took place around 3 PM at Baisaran, a popular tourist meadow, where terrorists opened fire on unsuspecting tourists and locals. Among the deceased were an Indian Navy officer and an Intelligence Bureau official.

The news sent waves of sorrow and anger across the country. Celebrities from different industries, languages, and regions came together to express grief and stand in solidarity with the victims’ families. Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Javed Akhtar, Katrina Kaif, and Vicky Kaushal joined millions of Indians in condemning this cowardly act.

Katrina Kaif wrote, “Heartbroken by the horrific attack in Pahalgam. Unsuspecting and innocent tourists and civilians whose lives have been tragically taken.” She further added, “Deepest condolences to the families of the victims during this unimaginable time. Praying for strength and peace for all the families who have lost loved ones. May justice be served.”

Vicky Kaushal, too, shared his thoughts and prayers for the grieving families. Alia Bhatt called the attack “inhuman” and urged the nation to stay united in the fight against terrorism.

Salman Khan’s words struck a deep chord with the public. He expressed, “Innocent people being targeted, my heart goes out to their families.” The actor also wrote, “The loss of even one innocent life is akin to a loss for the entire universe.” His message underlined the need for compassion and collective healing.

According to reports, The Resistance Front (TRF), a known proxy of Pakistan-based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba, has claimed responsibility for this barbaric attack. Security forces, including the Army, CRPF, and J&K Police, have launched a massive manhunt in the region. Helicopters were deployed for quick evacuation, and locals bravely helped carry the injured on ponies through the hilly terrain.

This act of terror has left the entire nation shaken. But in these dark times, the unity shown by people, celebrities, and local heroes is a reminder that humanity stands strong—even in the face of such cruelty.
