Saiyaara BO Day 4 Estimates: Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda's movie to cross Chhaava's first Monday numbers?

Saiyaara has created history at the box office. No one had high hopes from the Mohit Suri film starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. However, the music and trailer worked big time. After a spate of masala action pot-boilers, people were craving for a romantic movie. The original songs worked their magic especially the title track. Ahaan Panday has done a great job as a singer Krish Kapoor who finds love and solace in a song-writer Vaani. They fall in love but fate has other plans. Will the two manage to overcome this setback with their love, faith and resilience? The simple tragic theme has worked brilliantly due to the emotional narrative.

Trade expert Atul Mohan said that Saiyaara is seeing fantastic numbers for a Monday. After a long time, we are seeing a movie that is trending well even on week days. The last one to do so was Chhaava. He said, "Saiyaara crossed the Rs 15 crore mark by afternoon. The evening and night shows are running to packed houses. It should surely make close to Rs 18-19 crores (nett). This is really a good time for Bollywood."

It will be interesting to see if it challenges the first Monday of Chhaava. That movie had a strong grasp on the box office even on a week day. Saiyaara has truly come as a wonderful surprise for trade. Mumbai is driving the stupendous collections. PVR is seeing excellent sales and advances.

Irshad Kamil who wrote the lyrics praised Ahaan Panday saying that his good lip sync skills helped in building more connect with the audience. Aneet Padda was good in her OTT series Big Girls Don't Cry and she is fabulous in Saiyaara as well.
