Sai Ketan Rao: I always wanted to play a spy's role and will definitely take it up if I get it

Sai Ketan Rao aka Raghav from Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali won hearts with his role in the show and in fact, when the show went off-air, the fans were rather upset. While they continue to talk about the show and the characters so many days after the last episode, the actor spoke to India Forums earlier, about the kind of work he wishes to do, willingness to do web series, and more.

What kind of work you're getting and what would be something that is exciting for you also, something you look forward to?

It is there, but I will let everyone know soon, as of now, nothing is finalized. For me, a particular kind of genre that I want to do would be a crime thriller, I always wanted to play a spy's role, something like James Bond and I am eager to play such a role. I will definitely take it up if I get it.

Anything on the web series front, you were working on a project? Would you want to do web?

Nothing is on the table to go on shoot, everything has stopped right now. Yes definitely, if I get a good web series with a good genre, and everything works out, I will definitely do it.

There are stereotypes stereotypes on TV but after working in the industry, what do you think?

Yes definitely, I will be willing to come back in a different genre and different characters. Creatively, I am not satisfied, the hunger for creativity should always be there.

Well, Sai has also told us earlier how he hopes for a second season of their show, but he also is open to a wide array of projects. We hope the producers are listening!
