Rohit Sharma proposed to Ritika Sajdeh in this emotional manner proving he's a romantic at heart

Former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh were the first guests on Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra’s podcast Who’s The Boss. He spoke a lot about his incidents with the toss. The couple who were casually dressed revealed a bit about their personal lives. Rohit Sharma revealed how he proposed to Ritika for marriage. They had been dating for six long years before they tied the knot in 2015. Ritika Sajdeh is the cousin of Bunty Sajdeh who is the founder of Cornerstone, a PR agency specialising in managing sportspersons especially cricketers. Rohit was also under their agency.

The cricketer said that Ritika had brought food for him from home, and they finished eating. Then, he told her that they should go and have ice-cream as he is kind of bored. He said he would take her to his favourite ice cream parlour. They drove past Marine Drive, Haji Ali, Dadar and Bandra. Rohit told her that the place was near to his childhood cricket ground. When Ritika Sajdeh reached there, she saw that it was quite dark. His friend had done a mini set-up in the middle of the ground. When Rohit went down on his knees, Ritika knew he was going to pop the question.

The couple are blessed with a daughter Samaira who was born in 2018. We can see that Rohit is a doting baby daddy to his little girl. In 2024, Ritika Sajdeh and Rohit Sharma became parents to Ahaan, a son. Their baby is going viral due to his cuteness and resemblance to Sinchan. Ahaan looks like a mini version of his dad with his round face and chubby cheeks.

Rohit Sharma is now on a vacation with his wife, parents-in-law and children. After the gruelling IPL season, it is time to unwind and relax.
