The latest we hear is that the show will feature Amar Updhayay in the lead role while the female lead is yet to be finalised. SpotboyE has reported names like Aditi Bhatia and Niti Taylor, and the latest name is that of Rhea Sharma. The show will narrate the story of a young girl marrying an older man and hence, the pairing is likely to be unconventional. None the less, there is no finalization just yet.

Meanwhile, Rhea is currently seen in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke and the show will be going off-air next month. The actress has expressed her love for the show in multiple interviews, however, she also added how she understands that there are reasons. Replacing YRHPK will be Saath Nibhana Saathiya season 2.
