When producer Rashmi Sharma presented Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii on Colors over two years ago, not many would have either thought or predicted that the story about a kinnar would go on to become the humongous success it is even today.

Starring Rubina Dilaik and Vivian Dsena in lead roles, the show has portrayed the topsy-turvy joruney of a kinnar and how her husband is in love with her irrespective of anything else.

The show has also been critically acclaimed and many have applauded the brave effort too.

However, now that is has completed over 2 years, there is a section of people who feel the show has lost it's actual plot and is just dragging for no reason.

We asked producer Rashmi Sharma about what does she feel about the same. To this, she said, "I don't feel that has happened at all, to be honest. Because, in the show, the journey of that girl is still going on. At that point, she was on a completely different journey and currently her life is going through a different phase altogether. She is still a kinnar, and she is still facing the struggles she was back then in a probably different way. Sometimes, some of those are loved, while others aren't. Whatever reactions we get, we adapt to them and there is a conviction that we are working with.

Well, that seems fair enough!
