Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt to kickstart shooting for Shamshera

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor was immensely praised for his critically acclaimed performance in Sanju. The actor has set the benchmark with his portrayal of Sanjay Dutt in the film and the two are all set to feature for the upcoming film 'Shamshera'. Apart from them, the film also stars Vaani Kapoor in a pivotal role.

Traditionally Yash Chopra started organizing a pooja before the shoot was and even today, this custom is still practiced by the studio. Furthermore, the production house had also organized a pooja for the upcoming film.

According to the reports from After Hrs, the pooja for Shamshera was attended by Ranbir, Vaani Kapoor, who plays his love interest and director Karan Malhotra. However, Sanjay Dutt couldn't attend the ceremony due to busy work schedule.

Karan said, "It was amazing to have Shamshera's cast and crew under one roof before we dive into shooting our film. All of us are excited to start this journey."
