In a star-studded affair at the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, Bollywood glitterati from across the country and even international sensation Rihanna graced the three-day celebration. The gala event witnessed the convergence of legendary figures like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ram Charan, and many more. However, an unexpected incident on day two left attendees and the internet abuzz.
The highlight of the evening was the reunion of the three Khans - Salman, Shah Rukh, and Aamir - on stage after a considerable hiatus. The trio attempted the hook step of the popular RRR song "Naatu Naatu" by Ram Charan and Jr NTR. As the crowd enjoyed this rare spectacle, Shah Rukh Khan playfully called Ram Charan on stage with what seemed to be a mix of Telugu or Tamil words. The lighthearted banter took an unfortunate turn when Shah Rukh referred to Ram Charan as 'idli,' a South Indian snack.

Commenting on a video of the incident, she wrote, "'Bhend idly vada Ram Charan kahan hai tu (Saying names of snacks, Ram Charan where are you)???' I walked out after this. So disrespectful towards a star like @alwaysramcharan." Zeba's reaction shed light on the perceived discrimination faced by South Indian artists in the industry.
Although Zeba shared a statement on Instagram addressing the incident, it was later deleted. However, a snippet revealed her perspective on the regional bias in the entertainment industry. Zeba expressed, "It's funny how everyone wants to pay us 'lesser' because we're from south India whereas they're okay to pay triple the amount for the same thing to an artist if that artist is Delhi or Mumbai based."
The incident stirred controversy on social media, with netizens echoing Zeba's sentiments, criticizing Shah Rukh Khan for his choice of words. On the professional front, Ram Charan is gearing up for his upcoming film 'Game Changer' alongside the talented Kiara Advani.
