Rajkummar Rao opens up on a sequel to Janhvi Kapoor co-starrer ‘Roohi’

Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor wowed everyone with their on-screen chemistry in ’Roohi’. The actor recently revealed whether or not there will be a sequel to the film.  When asked if there will be sequels to both 'Stree' and 'Roohi,' Rajkummar went on to mention that 'Stree 2' is in works and the actor revealed that talks are already underway. However, Rajkummar stated that he is unaware about an update on 'Roohi' sequel. 

While Janhvi Kapoor appeared in the lead role in 'Roohi,' Shraddha Kapoor starred in 'Stree.' Both films received mixed reviews from critics and the general public. 

Meanwhile, talking about work, Rajkummar was most recently seen in the film 'Badhaai Do,' alongside Bhumi Pednekar. The film tells the story of a gay couple who marry in a lavender ceremony. 

Next up, Rajkummar Rao will be seen in Anubhav Sinha's 'Bheed.' The film's shooting has been completed and it is in its post production stage. When asked about the film, Rajkummar informed the leading portal that he is really pleased with it. The actor also stated that he admires Anubhav's work as a filmmaker. The director, according to him, conveys some amazing stories in a lovely way. He also added that ‘Bheed’ is a social drama and it will most probably release this year.
