Raj Kundra made headlines in 2021 after being arrested in connection with the alleged production and distribution of adult content. He was imprisoned for nearly three months and is now awaiting trial in the case. Well now, Raj Kundra’s advocate Prashant Patil issued a statement; says justice delayed is justice denied.

His lawyer said that, Raj is facing false prosecution and has been awaiting trial for years. Despite efforts to expedite the trial court process, it appears that the prosecution is more interested in delaying the trial.

He also said that, certain segments of the media have already pronounced a verdict without verifying the facts or truth of the story, despite not having complete knowledge of the truth.

Even if the entire charge sheet were considered true for the sake of argument, there is no evidence against Raj Kundra. His fundamental right to face a fair and expeditious trial is being denied. The speaker has faith in the Honourable Judiciary and has moved an application before the court to conduct the judicial proceedings on a day-to-day basis. If Mr. Kundra is found guilty of the allegations, he may be convicted by the court. However, if he is innocent, he deserves to be acquitted from the false allegations expeditiously.

He concluded saying that he hopes for an expeditious outcome of the matter by following due process of law, as justice delayed is justice denied.
