Rahul Roy extends heartfelt gratitude to Salman Khan for clearing his medical expenses

Rahul Roy, once a rising star in the industry, found himself navigating the periphery of fame, embracing supporting roles after his much-celebrated entrance. However, fate had a different plan in store for him.

It was during the filming of a movie in the picturesque landscapes of Kashmir that tragedy struck. Rahul Roy suffered a debilitating brain stroke, plunging him into a battle for survival. For nearly one and a half months, he fought a silent war within the confines of a hospital room. It was during this arduous period that a beacon of hope emerged in the form of superstar Salman Khan, whose benevolence shone through.

In a recent heart-to-heart conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Rahul Roy and his sister Priyanka Roy recounted the extraordinary kindness displayed by Salman Khan. It was the Tiger 3 actor who extended his helping hand, ensuring that the burden of hospital bills was lifted off their shoulders once Rahul was discharged. "I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Salman Khan because he cleared all the pending bills in February," revealed the brother-sister duo.

Priyanka further elaborated, acknowledging that while the producer of Rahul's film LOC had made efforts to settle his outstanding remuneration, it fell short of covering the mounting medical expenses. It was then that Salman Khan, unprompted and with genuine concern, reached out to Rahul and offered his assistance. 

The Aashiqui actor overwhelmed by Salman's generosity, expressed his gratitude and shattered misconceptions surrounding the superstar. "People harbor many preconceived notions about Salman Khan, but for me, he is a genuinely good person," shared Rahul. He went on to laud Salman's humility, highlighting that the magnanimous act was not flaunted in front of the media. 

Meanwhile, Rahul Roy, having triumphed over his health battle, stands resilient and ready to make his mark once again. With his return to the showbiz through the Zee5 project Agra, the actor is eager to reclaim his rightful place in the industry.
