Post shooting its pilot, Karan Razdan not sure about Rajani Returns!

It was earlier reported that Karan Razdan is planning to produce a sequel to Rajani, the popular TV series on Doordarshan that aired in the mid 80's in which Shrashti Maheshwari has been roped in to essay the lead role.

Well, now we have sad news for our masses who are eagerly waiting for the show.

Of what an actor shared, "The pilot of our show, Rajani Returns has already been shot and DD National will again be seen spreading the same magic it did years back. We will start shooting from June."

However, we were surprised when Karan said that he was in two minds to carry the idea forward!

Karan stated, "Yes, you heard it right. We have shot the pilot and everything but I am in two minds about taking the idea forward. Firstly, because I do not want the sequel to be a complete copy of the first one and secondly I am not sure if I would want to title the show Rajani Returns. Things will finalize in a month so I would be able to give a clear picture of the on-goings only then."
