So what made Parineet Chopra turn down 'Sultan' starring Salman Khan?
Well, it's none other than our leggy actress Anushka Sharma who made Pari turn down the movie. However, there is no personal grudge to it. The decision is based completely on professional front.
According to reports by a leading magazine, Parineeti refused to be a part of Sultan after learning that Anushka Sharma was offered the main lead and she didn't want to be the second lead.

Bollywood doesn't go by the lead-takes-all-the -glory culture anymore..So many of the secondary characters in the recent times have been appreciated more than the leads...in fact, Parineeti herself got all the praises for Ladies vs Ricky Behl even when there where four important ladies in the film...A film with Salman would definitely have given her career the much required boost..

The role is what should count. Not 1st or 2nd lead. Karishma was second lead in Dil Toh Pagal Hain and even got an award for it. Her performance is even remembered today. Even Juhi Chawala once said that she rejected roles based in if she was the main lead or not etc and now she regrets that, coz the role is all that counts!
