The last few months were the scariest for Nupur Alankaar and her sister Jigyasa. Nupur Alankaar's brother-in-law, who was in Afghanistan when the Talibans captured the country, remained missing. But there is good news for the family.
Nupur's brother-in-law, Kaushal Agarwal, landed in Afghanistan and got stuck in the war-torn country after the Taliban took over in August but he has finally returned home. Talking to a leading portal, Nupur confirmed the news and said that the whole family is happy her sister Jigyasa and their six-year-old twins aren’t leaving him even for a second. For them, it’s the biggest day of their life.
Kaushal, who has a dry fruit business, had flown to Kabul on July 16 for work and was stuck there. Talking about it, he told that he told that he was in Kandahar and was stuck there as he knew few people there because of his business. They guided them to book tickets and move out of the country. The situation was very difficult as the Indian Embassy was closed. He flew from Kandahar to Iran and then to Dubai, from where he reached Hyderabad and finally Mumbai.
It was quite a long journey but he managed to return but he didnt contacted family till he reached Dubai.
