Not Tanisha Mehta but Shagun Sharma to essay female lead in 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2'?

Shagun Sharma has been finalized as the new female lead of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, the much-awaited reboot of the iconic daily soap. Earlier, there were reports that Tanisha Mehta was being considered for the role, but now, multiple sources have confirmed that Shagun will be playing the central character in the show.

Shagun Sharma was last seen in Yeh Hai Chahatein, where she impressed audiences with her performance as Kashvi. She has also been a part of other popular shows like Ishq Par Zor Nahi and Sasural Genda Phool 2. With her strong acting skills and relatable screen presence, she has become a familiar face on Indian television. Alongside her, actor reports suggest that actor Rohit Suchanti will be playing the male lead. Rohit is known for his roles in shows like Bhagya Lakshmi, Sasural Simar Ka, and Balika Vadhu 2.
