Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja's Jhanak has been the talk of the town for a number of reasons, but majorly for its regressive story line. While the show started off pretty well in terms of the track and the ratings, it has been hitting a constant low on both the fronts for months now.

Well, India Forums had earlier reported about the show heading for a 20 year leap and Krushal Ahuja quitting the show after the same. According to our well placed sources closely associated with the show, not just Krushal but Hiba Nawab and Chandni Sharma will also be seen calling it quits as the show is headed for a 20 year leap, which calls for major changes in the story line.

Earlier, India Forums had exclusively reported about Shiny Doshi being approached to essay the new lead of the show, replacing Hiba. The Pandya Store fame had also confirmed the same with us and had stated that she does not want to do a show that is heading for a leap. ''I am not taking it up and I have refused because I do not want to be a part of a show which is heading for a leap and then a new story is launched. I rather wait for something fresh to come my way,'' Shiny said in an exclusive chat with us.

For those who do not know, Jhanak sees Hiba Nawab, Krushal Ahuja and Chandni Sharma in the titular roles. The show started off pretty well initially but has been registering disappointingly low TRPs for the past many months. Given its regressive story line and a lack of anything fresh in the story, reports also suggested that the show has been under the scanner for a while. Earlier, both Hiba and Krushal were also set to be replaced from the show, however, owing to the ongoing IPL season, the leap was postponed and both the actors were eventually retained.
