Niharika Chouksey on Tumm Se Tumm Tak ' As an actor, I always want to do something unique and different'

Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah’s Tumm Se Tumm Tak, which is produced under their banner Studio LSD, recently went on air. The show features Niharika Chouksey and Sharad Kelkar in lead roles. The theme of the show is an age-gap relationship portrayed with depth and dignity while challenging societal norms. And Niharika mentioned that it caught her attention immediately.

She said, “When I heard the concept, I found it really interesting. As an actor, I always want to do something unique and different. A show or a character that brings a fresh perspective really excites me. The theme of Tumm Se Tumm Tak instantly caught my attention, and I actually manifested that I wanted to be part of it as the lead.”

Age-gap relationships are still frowned upon in society, but for the young actress, it became an opportunity. “I feel every character is a challenge in the beginning, but now I’ve truly adapted to Anu. I love playing her. The beauty of this show is beyond the age gap—it's not just about the difference in numbers but about emotions, growth, and connection,” she said.

“I believe love just happens—it doesn’t see age or social status. And that’s the heart of this story. It’s liberating to be part of something that breaks the norm while staying rooted in emotion,” she added.

Niharika mentioned that such relationships do not just happen on reel but in real life too. She said, “I’m sure such relationships exist in real life too. Love can happen between anyone, and when you truly feel for someone, you just feel it—no logic, no judgment. That’s what we’re trying to portray.”
